FDC Policies

Following is a list of current Policies which guide YMCA Family Day Care Schemes. All Carers are provided with a copy which is updated when changes are made.

The following list of policies has been updated in line with the scheme's revision of policies. All policies are reviewed at least every 18 months and are adjusted to reflect current best practice.

Policies are written following consultation with parents, carers, scheme staff and the licensee. Policies are written to reflect the Queensland Child Care Act 2002, Queensland Child Care Regulation 2003, Commonwealth accountability requirements, Brisbane YMCA Quality Policy and National Childcare Accreditation Council practices.

For more information on these policies please contact the office.
